Description
Round-table discussion and activity session on open education, peer learning, e-learning and other closely linked issues. Education is one of the most important elements in the modern society, a system which influences how the citizens and workers of tomorrow will be like. Finland can boast to have one of the best education systems in the world, but at the same time education in Finland may be seen something very formal, school-based and conservative. Could the education system benefit from adopting elements of openness, such as content-sharing, peer learning, and e-learning solutions open for all? Most importantly, would people learn better? And can we somehow play a role in introducing an open revolution in education and learning? Join the discussion, which aims to create an open education working group and further project collaboration.
